Spotlight on Local Business ~ Tuesday

Today’s business spotlight is on: New Creations Blocks

Who are they: New Creation Blocks is owned by Aimee Perry and is located in Spring Hill, Tn.

Here’s what Aimee had to say about her creations…”Everything I make is custom. My customers pick out the colors and the style they would like. From there we can add photos, information, poems, scriptures…anything desired to further personalize the blocks.”

What do they sell: Personalized Vintage Wooden Blocks, Custom Necklaces & New Creation Hair Clips.

The blocks are my absolute favorite and I think they are just gorgeous! I can’t even begin to tell you how cool they are 😉 So many possibilities…I have even seen these blocks used in maternity photos to announce the baby’s gender or name…the possibilities are endless really! Take a look for yourself…

~Dedication Blocks ~ Birth Announcements Blocks ~Name Blocks~~ Business Blocks ~ Teacher Blocks ~ Family Blocks ~ Ornaments ~ Hair Clips ~ Necklaces/Hair Clip Sets ~ Necklaces ~ Wedding Blocks ~ Engagement Blocks ~ Cake Toppers ~

**The personalized blocks comes in three sizes**

1.Traditional blocks
These are 2″x 2″. These are great for spelling out names, or making and alphabet set or adding to a larger block for more decor options.
2. Decor Blocks
These are 4″x4″ and are what I use for Birth Announcement Blocks, photo blocks, some wedding blocks…etc..
3. Family Size Blocks
These are the largest. They are 4″x6″. These are great to feature photos better. I use these for many wedding blocks and my Family Album Sets.

What sets them apart: NCB is connected with two different ministries presently and about to add a third. They give 15% of their profit from each sale to Haiti and Africa. The organizations they work with protect children from poverty and abuse in particular.

NCB also sponsors an eleven year old girl in Africa and is hoping to sponsor at least one more child by mid this year.

Aimee’s dream is to at some point be working on the ground doing what these ministries are doing. Until then, she will do her best to raise some funds for the beautiful work they do!

Why Faithful & Frugal loves NCB: I love New Creation Blocks because they offer one of a kind, unique items that your family will cherish forever. Each and every block is created with love and hand made to be a very special treasure. Aimee is passionate about what she does and that shows in her works 🙂

Supporting Local Business ~ 2011 Series

It’s that time again…time for our “Spotlight on Local Business” series!!!

I am a firm believer in supporting our local businesses…The good news is that there are several local business owners in our Faithful & Frugal family. I began posting about them last year and decided that we would start the series back up in 2011 🙂 For the next little bit you will see posts with information about local businesses so that we can all start supporting them. My hope is that this will help you find treasures right in your own backyard that you didn’t even know existed before now 🙂

All of the businesses featured are locally owned and operated by people that I personally know and I believe in their businesses. Faithful & Frugal is not receiving any compensation for posting the business information…I am simply sharing my opinions and experiences with you…my faithful readers 🙂

Check back later today for Spotlight #1… If you missed last year’s spotlights, don’t worry you can still find them linked in all of this years features too 🙂
