Spotlight on Local Business ~ Wednesday

Today’s business spotlight is on: Sodium

Who are they: Sodium is lead by Nathan Estes and his team and is located in Franklin, Tn.

Sodium is a super cool Coffee House with family entertainment. Their mission statement is “Connect, Refuel, Thrive” and they are not kidding ๐Ÿ™‚ This place is loaded with awesomeness! For starter’s there is the tree house, a huge play structure for the kids to explore. Then, there is the rock wall…hello! What kid (or Dad) doesn’t love that? Oh and then there is the Play Village & Lego room for younger children…brillant! But wait, there is more…like pool tables, foosball, ping pong, gaming stations, air hockey, a huge stage for concerts, family friendly music videos playing in the background…oh and my personal favorite, the workshop rooms…that’s right, your kids can learn art, music, science and much more! Plus the place is loaded with comfy sofas and lots of tables with chairs for sitting and eating or working on your laptop…they are even plenty of booths to sit and talk or eat, in fact Sodium encourages you to pack a picnic or stop by a local hot shop and bring your food with you or order pizza and have it delivered ๐Ÿ™‚ Don’t worry, if you are a coffee lover…they’ve got you covered there too! The guy that runs the coffee shop…well, let’s just say he knows a lot about coffee…you would think he worked for Starbucks or something ๐Ÿ˜‰

Let me just tell you that I took my kids to Sodium yesterday for a Spring Break treat…we had never been so I wasn’t sure what to expect…I was blown away! The whole family had a blast and my kids didn’t want to leave!

What do they sell: Coffee ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, they really don’t sell anything…but they do offer membership to the facility and a chance for your family to connect and engage in a really cool atmosphere. They also offer special events so be sure to check their calendar for upcoming events.

Day passes to the facility are $7 per child, adults are FREE and there is a family maximum of $25 for larger families…How cool is that???

You can also buy memberships which save you a ton of money and as a member you cool “members only” benefits too…

Monthly Membership (Family) $49

12 Month Family Membership $249

Lifetime Membership $499

You can also donate a membership for a family who can’t afford one…a really great way to give back!

What sets them apart: Sodium is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on enriching the lives of families.ย  They do this by providing collaborative events and facilities that appeal to all ages of the entire family in one place- activities that help us open communication and engage members of our family.

Why Faithful & Frugal loves Sodium: I can’t even list ALL the reasons why I love Sodium…but I will tell some of my favs! First off, three words…Wholesome Family Atmosphere ๐Ÿ™‚ This place is awesome! There is stuff for all ages and everything they do is a meant to benefit families, families spending time together…LOVE that! Fav #2, there is wifi in the building and parents can work while their kids play ๐Ÿ™‚ Fav #3 The enrichments classes…they totally ROCK ๐Ÿ™‚ Listen, if you are looking for a super fun, ultra cool, family friendly place to hang out with your kids…Sodium is the place for you!
